Interior Designer

14th Street Modern & Vintage Home in Midtown Atlanta is seeking an experienced Interior Designer with 5 plus years of experience in the luxury residential market. This position is perfect for the designer seeking a company connection/home base, while also growing their own independent interior design business. We are totally different from the industry standard. We mentor and encourage our designers, as they navigate the business of design and support the 14th Street Team.

Qualifications:

- Experience at a design firm, high-end furniture retailer or designer showroom

- College degree with focus on interior design/architecture/art or equivalent job experience

- Portfolio of recent work demonstrating creative flair and design competencies

- Demonstrated use of technology and social media including Microsoft Office, Google Applications, FB, IG, etc

The ideal candidate:

• A curious collaborator, eager to contribute to the team effort
• High energy and stamina to navigate 65,000 sq ft showroom, including extended periods of time standing and walking with clients.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills that convert shoppers into custom interior design clients.
• Ability to multi-task and follow through in a fast-paced work environment
• An entrepreneurial spirit and experience running an independent design firm are a plus.

Designers have 65,000 sq ft of exquisite modern, vintage and antique designer furnishings for projects, plus another 30,000 sq ft at our warehouse. A full library of custom options, as well as access to our preferred workrooms and craftsmen complete the tools to create exquisite interiors.

Flexible schedules are available during our 10 AM – 6 PM hours, including a 4 or 5-day work week with no evening hours. We are closed every Sunday and Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, 4th of July.
