Electrical QA/QC InspectorSterling, VA | On-Site Full-Time | $48 – 52/hr, depending on experienceThe QA/QC Manager will lead quality assurance and quality control for data center projects. This role ensures that all electrical distribution systems, particularly Power Distribution Cabinets (PDCs), meet design specifications, installation standards, and operational readiness requirements. The manager will oversee compliance with QA/QC protocols and deliver documentation to support successful energization and handover.Quality Assurance & ControlDevelop and enforce QA/QC plans for electrical equipment and installations.Oversee inspection processes including receipt verification, factory acceptance testing (FAT), end-of-line checks, and installation verification.Ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and safety standards through systematic audits and visual inspections.Manage documentation of deficiencies, corrective actions, and final acceptance.Risk & ComplianceMaintain strict adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO) and energization safety protocols.Validate that all foreign object debris (FOD) inspections and remediation are completed prior to energization.Confirm readiness for energization through multi-party site walks and compliance checks.Stakeholder CoordinationAct as the primary liaison between construction teams, equipment vendors, and commissioning agents.Schedule and manage resources for commissioning activities, including weekend work when required.Provide technical guidance and resolve issues impacting quality or commissioning timelines.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred)Proven experience in QA/QC and commissioning for large-scale data center or industrial projectsStrong knowledge of electrical systems, PDCs, and associated testing protocolsFamiliarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and documentation practicesExcellent organizational and communication skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on compliance and safetyAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and tight schedulesSkilled in interpreting technical drawings and specificationsProficient in QA/QC reporting tools and commissioning documentation Selectek
