Job Summary JW Cole Insurance is seeking a motivated and professional Insurance Solutions Consultant to support advisor growth across life insurance, annuity, and long-term care solutions. This role is designed for someone who can proactively engage financial advisors, identify sales opportunities, support case design, assist with product positioning, and help move insurance business from initial advisor inquiry through submission and placement. The ideal candidate will act as a key point of contact for advisors, providing product knowledge, illustration support, sales ideas, process guidance, and proactive follow-up to help advisors better serve their clients and grow their insurance business. This position is based on-site in Tampa, FL. Given the importance of team dynamics and our partnering culture, candidates seeking a remote position will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Serve as an internal insurance resource for financial advisors across life insurance, annuities, and long-term care solutions. Proactively reach out to advisors to uncover opportunities, follow up on cases, and help drive insurance business. Field incoming advisor calls regarding available products, carrier solutions, underwriting requirements, illustrations, and new business status. Help advisors understand product features, positioning, case design, and the steps required to move business forward. Identify advisors who may benefit from additional education, sales support, or partnership with JW Cole Insurance. Prepare and support life insurance, annuity, and LTC illustrations for advisor review. Assist advisors with comparing products, carriers, riders, income options, death benefit structures, and planning strategies. Help identify suitable product options based on advisor-provided client needs and objectives. Recognize cases requiring special handling and coordinate with carriers, IMO partners, or internal teams as needed. New Business & Pipeline Management Manage key components of the new business process that directly impact advisor experience and case placement. Track pending cases, follow up on outstanding requirements, and communicate next steps clearly to advisors. Take ownership of advisor inquiries and case issues through resolution. Partner with internal operations, compliance, carriers, and outside partners to help ensure timely and accurate processing. Look for opportunities to improve advisor experience, increase placement rates, and add value throughout the insurance process. Business Development Support insurance business growth by helping advisors identify life, annuity, and LTC opportunities within their client base. Assist with advisor education campaigns, product updates, sales ideas, and follow-up initiatives. Maintain regular communication with targeted advisors to promote insurance solutions and deepen engagement. Contribute to sales activity tracking, pipeline reporting, and bonus/revenue goals. Qualifications Professional communication style with strong phone, email, and relationship-building skills. Ability to represent JW Cole Insurance in a highly professional and advisor-focused manner. Knowledge of life insurance, annuities, and/or long-term care products preferred. Experience with insurance illustrations, new business processing, carrier platforms, or advisor support preferred. Ability to rapidly learn and retain product, carrier, underwriting, and process information. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, follow-ups, and advisor requests at once. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment. Collaborative team player who takes ownership and holds themselves accountable for results. This person should enjoy solving problems, following up proactively, identifying opportunities, and helping advisors grow their insurance business. Requirements This position is performed primarily in a professional office environment. Essential functions of the position require prolonged periods of sitting, working at a computer, and communicating with others in person, by telephone, and electronically. The position may also require occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting or carrying items weighing up to 10 pounds. Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. J.W.
