divh2Maintenance Technician 1st Shift/h2pNC - High Point (1) - High Point, NC 27260/ph3Overview/h3pPosition Type Full Time Job Shift First Shift Education Level High School Diploma or Equivalent Travel Percentage None Category Manufacturing/ph3Maintenance Technician 1st Shift/h3pSUMMARY: This position will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems./ppESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/pulliPerform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment./liliDemonstrate ability to parallel all rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products./liliDemonstrate ability to troubleshoot programmable controllers and troubleshoot and repair all A/C and D/C drives and their control systems use./liliPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines./liliProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service./liliMaximize the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed./liliPerform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities./liliRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service./liliUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties./liliSpecial projects as business dictate./liliDuties may be expanded upon and additional duties may be assigned./li/ulpSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/ppThis position has no supervisory responsibilities./ppPHYSICAL DEMANDS/ppReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
