*About the Role* We are hiring a *Patient Access Specialist* to support a fastpaced healthcare operations team. This role focuses on administrative, clerical, and customer support related to patient records, billing documentation, and internal requests.
This is a strong entrylevel opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience in *healthcare administration, medical records, and hospital support services*.
*What You'll Be Doing*
* Process requests for *medical records, EOBs, UB92 forms, and itemized statements*
* Sort, track, and distribute incoming mail and documentation
* Support *claims processing and billing documentation workflows*
* Manage work queues and complete assigned tasks in internal systems
* Perform general office duties (filing, scanning, indexing, data entry)
* Handle documentation requests from internal and external teams
* Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all tasks
*What We're Looking For* *Required Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Previous *administrative, office, or customer service experience*
* Familiarity with *medical terminology*
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to *work independently and manage workload*
* Comfortable working in a *fastpaced, highvolume environment*
* Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
*Preferred (Nice to Have)*
* Experience in healthcare or patient access
* Exposure to *EPIC or similar systems*
* Data entry or 10key experience
* Customer service experience in a medical setting
*Schedule & Work Environment*
* *100% onsite* in Mount Sterling, KY
* Shift options may include:
* Early shift: *5:30 AM - 2:00 PM*
* Day shift: *7:00 AM - 3:30 PM*

* Office/healthcare setting with a teambased environment
* Fastpaced workflow with high daily volume
*Additional Requirements*
* Background check required
* Drug screening required
