The Opportunity: We’re looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team. This is a field-based, in-home consultative sales role. You’ll meet with homeowners who have already reached out to DryZone for help, inspect the areas of concern, identify the source of the problem, and recommend the right solution for their home. We provide and schedule your appointments, so there is no traditional cold calling or door-to-door prospecting. Your focus is on building trust with the homeowner, understanding what matters to them, presenting the right solution, and confidently closing the sale. What We Provide You: Earning potential of $85,000–$180,000+ per year Company-provided, pre-scheduled homeowner appointments No traditional cold calling or door-to-door prospecting Paid training and ongoing sales and product training Proven products and solutions backed by nationally recognized dealer networks An established company serving homeowners throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island Support from an experienced sales, customer care, and production team Technology and sales tools to help manage appointments, proposals, and customer follow-up Health and vision insurance 401(k) with company match What You’ll Do Travel to pre-scheduled appointments with homeowners throughout your assigned territory Meet with homeowners to understand their concerns, priorities, and goals Inspect basements, crawl spaces, foundations, and other areas of the home to identify the source of the problem Educate homeowners on your findings and explain available solutions Develop and present customized proposals based on the homeowner’s needs Help customers understand and prioritize recommended solutions Address questions and objections and confidently ask for the sale Prepare accurate proposals, contracts, measurements, and other required documentation Maintain organized customer records and follow up with homeowners as needed Communicate with our customer care, production, and management teams throughout the sales process What We Need From You 3+ years of outside, field, in-home, or other consultative sales experience A demonstrated ability to close sales and achieve performance goals Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills Confidence discussing pricing, handling objections, and asking for the sale Excellent communication and listening skills Strong organization and time-management skills Comfort using CRM software, tablets, and other sales technology The ability and willingness to enter basements and crawl spaces, kneel, climb ladders, and perform the physical portions of an in-home inspection A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout your assigned territory Construction, home improvement, waterproofing, foundation repair, or related industry experience is helpful, but not required We can teach you our products, systems, and inspection process. What we’re looking for is someone who already knows how to connect with customers, uncover their needs, communicate value, work through objections, and close. Experience in in-home sales, home improvement, roofing, windows, HVAC, remodeling, pest control, solar, automotive sales, or other high-ticket consultative sales environments may translate especially well to this role.
