What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors staff and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access control activities and other security-related duties at the location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report observed concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas loading and unloading zones parking areas and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and note unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances gates and/or designated access points verify credentials when required and document visitor vehicle and delivery activity in accordance with post orders.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate communicate with supervisors and/or local contacts during operational disruptions and complete required reports before the end of the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
