Receiving Clerk

*Job Summary and Responsibilities* As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming shipments and deliveries. Every day you will verify contents against purchase orders, identify and report discrepancies or damages, and organize received goods for proper distribution or storage. To be successful, you will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, efficient organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting smooth operations. Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributor Assists in unloading shipments from delivery truck Uses dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment to transport shipments from loading dock and around stockroom Opens boxes and inspects contents of shipments Processes returns for any defective or incorrect items Checks shipping invoice to ensure all items are accounted for *Job Requirements* High School Graduate Or GED 2 years of Supply Chain related experience Where You'll Work St. Luke’s Health – Memorial Lufkin is a 279 bed facility and member of CommonSpirit Health, a national nonprofit health system.
