Production Operator Assembler

Cretex Medical is a leading contract manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for the medical device industry. This role is responsible for performing basic to complex/advanced machine operations, assembly, inspection, and secondary processes. This position requires proficiency in multiple production areas, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Shifts Available:

  • 1st shift: Mon - Fri 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • 2nd shift: Mon - Fri 2:00 pm -10:30 pm
  • 3rd shift : Sun- Thurs 10:00 pm- 6:30 am
  • 8th shift: Thurs- Sat and everyother Sunday from 6:00 am - 6:30 pm
  • 9th shift: Thurs- Sat and everyother Sunday from 6:00pm - 6:30am

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and/or dimensional inspection using microscopes, gauges, calipers, or other measurement tools, as required.
  • Complete required documentation such as production records, quality checks, setup sheets, and history records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implement process enhancements.
  • Handle and work with cleaning chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, detergents, or solvents when needed.
  • Maintain an organized, clean work area following 5S expectations.
  • Participate in required training and company meetings.
  • Read, understand, and follow work instructions, standard work, and applicable quality/ISO/cGMP requirements.
  • Cross train across manufacturing areas.
  • Support and comply with the Quality System, ISO, and medical device regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate issues with materials, equipment, or processes promptly.

Assembly Responsibilities

  • Assemble and package components and medical devices with increased complexity per specifications.
  • Operate advanced manual and semi-automated equipment.
  • Perform in-process quality checks and resolve assembly issues.

Secondary Operations Responsibilities

  • Execute advanced secondary operations (e.g., trimming, deburring, cleaning, passivation, laser marking, laser welding, label generation & inspection, and/or finishing of components).
  • Use precision measurement tools (micrometers, digital calipers, drop indicators, pull testers etc.) for verification.
  • Utilize testing equipment and enter data in the applicable system.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience; higher level roles will require more years of experience.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions in English.
  • Perform basic math, handeye coordination, and dexterity.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and measurement equipment.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of clean room environment procedures and regulations preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Experience working on a computer and with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience using a microscope for Stamping and Molding Implant roles.

Pay Range

USD $18.00 - USD $24.50 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

Pay Range Details:

  • Production Operator Assembler I: $18.00 - 20.00
  • Production Operator Assembler II: $19.00 - 22.00
  • Production Operator Assembler III: $20.00 - 24.50

This position may be eligible for shift differential.

20+hours:
