Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments through thorough medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations to identify health concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Perform various medical procedures, including minor surgical interventions, as delegated by the supervising physician, employing advanced techniques and ensuring patient safety.
• Document patient interactions meticulously, including treatment plans and follow-up care, in our electronic medical record (EMR) system to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient information.
• Educate patients regarding their medical conditions, available treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices, supporting them in taking an active role in their health.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings aimed at enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient base, providing immediate medical care for a variety of acute conditions, ranging from common colds and flu to more serious medical issues requiring urgent intervention. Our urgent care setting allows you to engage with patients across various demographics, ensuring they receive timely and quality healthcare. Your contributions directly impact patient outcomes by delivering prompt assessments and managing treatments effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team structure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for providing patient education and fostering a supportive environment.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an urgent care or similar fast-paced clinical setting.
