Carilion Clinic is seeking a dedicated urologist to join an established, busy practice in Christiansburg, Virginia. This employed opportunity allows the provider to work alongside four urologists and five advanced care practitioners supported by advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options. Practice Info Busy office with advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options Modern and progressive Carilion New River Valley Medical Center (CNRV) located 15 minutes from the practice with OR block time CNRV is a 150 bed level III trauma center offering minimally invasive surgery including DaVinci robotics, three smart OR's, MRI targeted prostate biopsies, laparoscopic surgery, InterStim, CyberWand for PCNL, and Holmium laser Surgeons perform cases at the ambulatory surgery center on CNRV campus Cystoscopy tower systems, digital X-ray and urodynamics in the primary ambulatory practice, supporting in-office procedures and maximum physician efficiency Excellent referral base of primary care physicians Responsibilities Perform minimally invasive surgery including DaVinci robotics, laparoscopic surgery, InterStim, CyberWand for PCNL, and Holmium laser Perform cases at the ambulatory surgery center on CNRV campus Perform in-office procedures utilizing cystoscopy tower systems, digital X-ray and urodynamics Compensation Min Starting Salary: $497,384 Max Starting Salary: $713,823 Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary Competitive, guaranteed base salary plus bonus incentives to enhance income capabilities Benefits Relocation Paid: Yes Vacation: Yes CME: Yes Health/Vision with Wellness Incentives and Pharmacy Dental Life Insurance Disability Retirement Savings Plans - 403(b) and Deferred Compensation Employer funded pension plan PAID malpractice and tail Shift & Schedule 1:5 call with ACPs providing some first call and hospital coverage support Qualifications Candidates must be eligible for unrestricted Virginia medical licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible with certification in process required New residents and fellows are encouraged to apply
