Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position in Normal, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and a minimum of one year of nursing experience.

Job Details

• Position is in a hospital Emergency Department,
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week,
• Weekend and holiday shifts are flexible/rotating,
• No floating requirements,

Job Requirements

• Active IL RN license in good standing required (temp license accepted),
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association),
• Trauma nursing certification required: TNCC, TNS, or TCRN,
• Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience required,
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,

Additional Information

• Provides direct patient care in the ED including assessment, care plan development and execution, and ongoing care plan evaluation in collaboration with providers, patients, and families,
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient documentation,
• Responsible for patient and staff safety through appropriate nursing interventions and adherence to safety standards,
• Candidate interviews are conducted by the facility leader,
• RTO may not exceed 7 total days for the duration of the contract,
• Travelers who have been on continuous assignment at any Carle Health location for 1 year must take a 6-month break in service before returning
