Kitchen Staff

Prepares food needed for to-go, pickup, line, delivery, and catering orders. Works at constant speed to ensure orders go out at appropriate time. Maintains communication with line to keep fried items stocked. Follows orders and thinks ahead to prepare for the next day by performing the following duties.

• Prepares hot and cold food items.
• Communicates with line/to-go staff, pit staff, and management about order and ready times
• Cooks necessary food items to prepare for future needs.
• Handles raw foods such as chicken and beef.
• Washes dirty dishes.
• Wiping down counters/sanitize area
• Maintains clean area at all times.
• Organizes walk-in cooler and freezer.
• Reads catering, pickup, and to-go orders and takes necessary steps to prepare required food.
• Assists in taking food trays to line.
• Assists pit area by putting dishes away.
• Assures cleaning schedules are completed
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
