Title: Dietitian – Inpatient (CNSC Preferred)

Location: Syracuse, New York

Duration: 14 Weeks (High possibility of extension)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift

Shift Timing: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Weekly Hours: 42.5 Hours

Pay: $57 - $67/hour

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to provide comprehensive inpatient nutrition care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. The Dietitian will perform nutrition assessments, develop Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plans, manage nutrition support therapies, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nutrition assessments for hospitalized patients

• Develop and implement individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) plans

• Monitor and reassess patient nutritional status

• Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families

• Manage enteral and parenteral nutrition support

• Interpret laboratory values and adjust nutrition plans accordingly

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on nutrition interventions

• Recommend diet modifications and nutritional supplements

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care rounds

• Maintain accurate documentation and nutrition records

Required Qualifications:

• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through CDR

• Eligible for or current New York State CDN license

• Minimum 2 years of clinical nutrition experience

• Strong knowledge of inpatient nutrition care and Medical Nutrition Therapy

• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• CNSC (Certified Nutrition Support Clinician) Certification

• Pediatric nutrition experience

• Critical care nutrition experience

• Experience managing enteral and parenteral nutrition therapies

• Familiarity with hospital quality improvement programs
