Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, collaborating effectively with healthcare teams, and ensuring the best patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients with a variety of medical-surgical conditions.
- Monitor patient health and implement care plans under the direction of the clinical coordinators.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
- Assist with medical procedures and technical tasks as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Meditech.
- Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills are essential.
