Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview In a manner consistent with our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high‑quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a rapidly evolving practice setting, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. The Provider is expected to provide outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels while maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth settings, meeting patient volume goals for each modality as determined. Lead clinic staff—X‑Ray technologists, nurses, and front‑office specialists—by example in behaviors, actions, and attitude to deliver excellent patient care. Provide guidance as necessary to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction. Perform all responsibilities outlined in the SCRIBE job description. Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications. Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance. Actively engage with clinical leadership, elevating concerns to management when appropriate to ensure strong patient care and resolution of issues. Ensure accurate and timely completion of patient charts and forwarding of charts as required. Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by the CMO and supervising physicians. Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic results to develop appropriate diagnoses. Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with attention to patient‑centric care, safety, cost, and reliability. Conduct all duties in compliance with federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and health information management issues. Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both clinic and virtual settings. Pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely manner to ensure proper follow‑up. Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications responsibly, and educate patients on continued treatment of acute and chronic conditions. Adhere to clinical practice guidelines issued by the Office of Medical Affairs. Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and participate in E/M training. Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols and complete mandatory compliance training. Adhere to the company’s core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. Recommend ideas to clinic and telehealth leadership to improve patient experience and care. Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care. Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and provide an overview of clinic processes. Assist new employees with learning activities and required training; provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities. Maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality for employees, employers, and business operations. Consult with patients through virtual communication channels. Perform other duties as assigned by management. PRN employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full‑time employees must work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend. Experience Requirements and Preferences Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN). Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice such as urgent care, occupational medical facility, ER, trauma unit, or family medical practice. License and Certification Active family nurse practitioner license, DEA, and any required state certification. Providers must treat all ages and meet any credentialing requirements needed. DOT certification required for FT and PT providers within 120 days of employment. Complete all mandatory compliance training. Compliance Adhere to all federal and state regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA. Complete all required compliance training and maintain quality of care standards.
