CNC Machinist

Job Title: Machinist Job Description
We are seeking a skilled machinist to set and operate machines, specifically milling machines, to create machine parts that meet precise specifications.
Responsibilities

• Set up and operate milling machines.
• Measure, examine, or test completed units for defects and ensure they conform to specifications using precision instruments like micrometers.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
• Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.

Essential Skills

• Experience in setting up and operating machines, specifically milling machines.
• Proficiency with CNC operations.
• At least 1 year of machine operation experience.
• Familiarity with using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers.

Join our team working in a dynamic environment with openings available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
