As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Gadsden, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, assist employees and visitors with professionalism, and deliver strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $15.20 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or delivery activity, and communicate with site personnel regarding security-related concerns and operational needs.
• Support facility operations by documenting daily activity, noting maintenance or housekeeping issues that may affect the location, and escalating concerns through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
