Dentists' Office of Hudson Valley is looking for a full-time Dental Hygienist in Lake Katrine, New York to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. • Competitive salary range: $52.00-$57.00/hour + 33% production bonus

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization
• Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress
• Update patient health history and chart treatment progress
• Expose and develop radiographs (if certified)
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
• Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
• Support the hygienist with patient scheduling and treatment recommendations and office recall systems
• Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with the industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (Required)
• Radiology certification (if applicable)
• CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
• Currently in Hygiene school and expect to fulfill requirements to become a licensed hygienist within the next 6 months.
