Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a vital role supporting surgical teams by providing expert nursing care in a dynamic operating room environment. This contract position calls for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized experience in the Operating Room to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid, unencumbered RN license
• Proven background as an Operating Room RN, including circulating and/or scrubbing duties
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Strong understanding of surgical procedures and sterile technique
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to remain focused and calm in high-pressure situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and maintain sterile conditions throughout procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team before, during, and after operations
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Document all nursing care, medicines administered, and interventions accurately in patient records
• Assist with positioning and preparing patients for surgery, including pre-op and post-op duties
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and universal precautions at all times
