Street Medicine APP -Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine (Practitioner)

Overview USC Street Medicine is hiring a full‑time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and Clinical Instructor of Family Medicine (Practitioner). The APP will deliver care directly in the MacArthur Park service area to people experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, preventive, and health maintenance services under the direction and supervision of a licensed physician. Deliver comprehensive physical, mental, and substance use disorder care to unsheltered individuals in the service area. Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes community health workers, a licensed vocational nurse, a substance use disorder counselor, a clinical social worker, a psychiatrist, and a family and addiction medicine physician. Assist in teaching physician assistant students, medical students, family medicine residents, and other learners during street‑based rounds. Support USC Street Medicine's broader system of care, including HIV medicine, women's health, and enhanced care management. Qualifications Current Advanced Practitioner license (PA, NP, etc.). Preferred: at least 3 years of experience working with the homeless population. Preferred: experience treating substance use disorders. Preferred: experience in primary care and mental health treatment. Schedule & Compensation This is a full‑time, exempt, in‑person position based in Los Angeles, CA.
