Our client, a leading manufacturing and warehouse organization, is seeking a Shipping clerk to join their team. As a Shipping clerk, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting logistics and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipping clerk

Location: Greenville, NC

Pay Range: $13 with potential to increase over time to $15

Shift: 12-hour rotating shift (days or nights, including weekends and holidays)

What's the Job?

• Coordinate and document outbound shipments in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure sales orders are accurately released and ship confirmed on schedule
• Create parcel shipping labels using UPS, FedEx, and other ground carrier systems
• Prepare and review shipping paperwork to ensure GMP compliance
• Communicate effectively with truck drivers, yard personnel, and cross-department teams to support efficient shipping operations

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
• Experience with shipping software, WMS, or ERP systems advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a regulated environment with strict documentation requirements
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
