Pediatric Social Worker, LMSW-PRN

Pediatric Social Worker delivering psychosocial assessment and brief targeted intervention for children and families at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Responsibilities Maintain professional documentation meeting department and VUMC standards for compliance. Provide brief targeted interventions for identified clients. Complete psychosocial assessment and assist the team in developing the plan of care. Provide education or consultation to clients, families, treatment team, and community. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and shared decision‑making. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Technical Capabilities Risk Management (Novice): Demonstrate proficiency in risk analysis, determination of risk factors, probability, impact, early detection, prevention, and preparation of simple contingency plans. Crisis Intervention (Novice): Demonstrate proficiency in crisis intervention in moderate difficulty applications. Patient Assessment (Novice): Demonstrate proficiency in patient assessments in moderate difficulty applications. Patient Evaluation (Novice): Demonstrate proficiency in conducting patient evaluations in moderate difficulty applications. Clinical Counseling (Novice): Demonstrate proficiency in clinical counseling in moderate difficulty applications. Work Experience: Relevant work experience, less than 1 year. Education: Master’s degree in Social Work.
