Associate P&C Actuarial Analyst
Pricing partner to underwriting. Closer to an underwriting-partner role than a pure modelling role because the ad stresses live strategy execution, MGA interaction, and business presentations.
Associate P&C actuarial analyst role in Jersey City, NJ, supporting personal lines pricing and underwriting strategy. You'll conduct profitability studies, monitor KPIs, support rate filings, maintain pricing tools, and present analysis to business partners while using SQL, Python, VBA, R, Tableau, or Power BI.
Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Computational Finance, or related field
- 2 years of personal lines insurance experience
- Passage of at least 2 CAS exams
Strongly preferred:
- Programming skills in SQL, Python, VBA, or R
- Data visualization using Tableau or PowerBI
Skills & Domain: Tableau Power_BI Domain Personal lines of insurance
