Caregiver / Companion for Older Adults

Home Instead is currently hiring compassionate and reliable caregivers to support older adults living in their own homes. If you are a “people person”, we need you now more than ever to help your neighbors age with dignity. Join our team and become one of the Caregivers—we call ours Care Professionals—who bring their care and compassion to help older adults meet the challenges of aging on their terms. Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Medication and appointment reminders Alzheimer’s Care No previous experience necessary – skills training will be provided by Home Instead. Requirements Possess a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance (required if driving clients) and reliable transportation Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly manner We have a variety of shifts available located in Schuyler, Steuben, Chemung, and Tioga counties. And because we care for our Care Pros as much as we care for our clients, we provide 24/7 support and offer competitive pay and benefits.
