Join us and help run what runs the world.This position reports to:Production Supervisor__Injection Mold Technician - 2nd ShiftJob Summary:The person in this position is responsible for all aspects of plastic injection molding production on assigned shift, including training, cost, quality standards, and service. They are expected to work safely, ensure they are producing quality product, and keep up 5S in their work area.Major Responsibilities/Activities:Ensure all machines are running at a standard rate, cavitation & cycle timePerform quality checks at predetermined times and record on all products being molded to ensure all parts produced are to the highest acceptable quality levelMonitor machines to ensure proper functions and safety.Notify appropriate persons when there is a machine or tool malfunctionLoad and unload product bins or containers as necessary5-S and daily check list form on presses and surrounding area (clean presses and surrounding area daily)Complete daily molding log book (press report) and press boardPerform diagnostics on production process and equipment problems determining necessary corrective actionsProvide training to shift personnel regarding standard operating procedures and processing techniques.Basic Qualifications:High School Diploma/GEDMinimum 3 years' experience in a technical capacity in plastic injection moldingWorking knowledge of production flow and processesAdequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)Preferred Qualifications:Injection Molding Technical Education preferredLeadership training is preferredJoin us in shaping the future of plastic manufacturing with energy and precision!
