Vascular Neurologist, Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center / Atlantic Health

Job Title: Vascular (Stroke) Neurologist Atlantic Health is looking to expand its neurology team and is seeking a physician to join the vascular neurology division at Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center, a comprehensive stroke center accredited by the Joint Commission. The ideal candidate will be part of the stroke service line and Atlantic Medical Group, reporting to the system medical director for neurology acute care, associate system medical director of stroke, and chair of the home institution. Responsibilities include both hospital duties and system‑wide stroke duties and may involve outpatient clinic work. Responsibilities Participate in the acute stroke team (code strokes: in‑person and/or via telemedicine) Provide vascular neurology consults for all inpatient vascular consults Work alongside emergency medicine physicians, neurosurgeons, interventionalists, and neurointensivists Guide and supervise stroke team members, including APNs and PAs Collaborate with stroke coordinators and managers to review quality data and ensure best‑practice care for all stroke patients Participate in the outpatient clinic as required Salary Range $350,000–$450,000 base salary only; excludes any quality and/or productivity incentives Benefits Competitive salary Robust health, dental, Rx, and vision plans 403b retirement plan with company match Reimbursement for relocation Comprehensive malpractice policy Eligible for Federal Student Loan Forgiveness (non‑profit health system) Annual CME and time off incremental to PTO days Full reimbursement for Boards and licensing fees Tuition reimbursement for advanced degrees Outstanding growth and mentorship opportunities Qualifications MD or DO degree NJ license or eligibility for licensure in NJ ACGME accredited neurology residency ACGME vascular neurology board certification Additional Opportunities Clinical academic appointments are available through Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University.
