Inventory Specialist

Job Description
Receiving: A client of Insight Global is looking for an Inventory Specialist (Receiving) to work fully onsite in Middle River, MD. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Specialists to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving incoming materials, accurately processing receipts within SAP, maintaining inventory traceability, and ensuring parts are properly stored in designated warehouse locations. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working with inventory data, and committed to accuracy.
Compensation:
$18/hr to $20/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
Skills and Requirements
• HS Diploma or GED • Must be able to lift 40lbs • Must have reliable transportation • Experience working in a warehouse environment in either receiving or picking • Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data entry, tracking, and record management • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies, including variances as small as a single digit • Experience maintaining accurate inventory records and part traceability/documentation • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Willingness to learn
