A growing Newport Beach litigation firm is offering a rare combination: $165K-$210K base plus lucrative bonus plan, genuine variety across sophisticated civil matters, and the autonomy to run your own cases - without a portable book requirement. What you'll do: Own cases from inception through resolution pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, trial, and appeals - Draft and argue dispositive motions, writs, and appellate briefs with direct partner collaboration Take and defend depositions; appear in California state and federal courts Develop case strategy and serve as a primary point of contact for clients Work across a diverse docket spanning business disputes, real estate, IP, consumer, construction, personal injury, and hospitality matters Contribute to a collaborative team environment where attorneys receive meaningful responsibility from day one What you need: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active California Bar membership in good standing Minimum 5 years of California civil litigation experience Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters independently from inception through resolution Nice to have: Experience in two or more of the firm's practice areas: business and commercial disputes, real estate litigation, intellectual property (trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets), Proposition 65, CLRA/UCL consumer claims, construction litigation, professional negligence, or personal injury/wrongful death - Portable book of business (not required, but recognized) Strong appellate writing background Pay & benefits: Base salary: *$165,000-$210,000 depending on experience Performance, hourly, and origination bonus opportunities 401(k) with employer matching Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, FSA, and HSA Professional development assistance Location & schedule - Newport Beach, CA - Full-time, Hybrid Benefits 401(k) 401(k) Matching Health Insurance Dental Insurance Flexible spending account Health savings account Life Insurance Professional Development Assistance Vision Insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr CyberCoders
