Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse (Rn)We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience to provide comprehensive care in a variety of obstetric scenarios. The successful candidate will be expected to work in the labor and delivery unit as well as on the postpartum floor, offering couplet care and support for patients recovering from hysterectomy procedures.ResponsibilitiesProvide care for patients during antepartum, labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.Deliver couplet care for both mother and newborn.Administer basic medical-surgical care for patients recovering from hysterectomy.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and Postpartum care.Experience with couplet care is essential.Basic medical-surgical skills required for patient care following hysterectomy.Required Skills And CertificationsAntepartum careLabor and DeliveryPostpartum careObstetric careCertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS)Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)AWHONN certification for fetal monitoring (required)Preferred CertificationSTABLE certificationWork ScheduleThis position involves working three 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.Additional InformationOrientation available bi-weekly.Scrubs will be provided for all staff.The unit features 4 labor beds, 4 triage beds, and 13 obstetric beds.Flexibility with requests for time off is available; however, candidates must be willing to work at least one holiday during the contract period.Client Details State NC
