PRN Psychiatrist Contra Costa County

$200 $225/hr Flexible Schedule

Overview:
Seeking a flexible, adaptable Psychiatrist to provide coverage across multiple facilities throughout California. This role is ideal for physicians who enjoy variety, autonomy, and broad clinical exposure .

What You ll Do:

Provide care across inpatient, outpatient, consult/liaison, and ED settings
Conduct psychiatric evaluations & medication management
Develop and implement treatment plans
Perform risk assessments & involuntary holds (5150s)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Complete EMR documentation
Assist with coverage gaps and shift handoffs

Requirements:

Active California medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatry
Comfortable in varied clinical environments
Strong communication & teamwork skills
Willingness to travel throughout California

Schedule:

Highly flexible days, evenings, nights, weekends available
Opportunities for ongoing or short-term assignments
