Accountant - Infrastructure Construction

Job Description

CTR Group is seeking an Accountant for a Rental Equipment Firm in Infrastructure Construction in the Culpeper, VA, Area.

Pay Range: $30- $35 per Hour plus Benefits

SUMMARY:

Our client, an Industrial Heavy Equipment Rental Company is seeking an Accountant with experience in a related industry such as Rental Equipment, Construction, or Engineering.

REQUIREMENTS:

5 years of experience (exceptional candidates with 4 years might be considered).
Prefer degree or in process of degree. Currently in school at night is acceptable.
Month End Closing
Banking (4 companies, 2 accounts each) bank reconciliation
Financial Statement Preparation
Journal Entries
General Ledger posting and account reconciliation and balancing. (DOT mandates)
Experience with certified payroll and Davis Bacon.
Quick books mandatory. Excel Mandatory. Foundation a plus but will train.
Any contract administration experience a plus.
Must come from similar industries such as rental equipment, A&E, Construction, engineering, etc. United Rentals ideal target.
Work Ethic critical.
Able to work OT, especially as the end of the year.
Work is in person, no remote possibilities.
