Regulatory Compliance Reporting AnalystThe regulatory compliance reporting analyst is responsible for preparing and submitting various regulatory reports required to maintain the mortgage lending and servicing licenses held by RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC ("RoundPoint"). This position requires an individual that has the ability to comprehend and adhere to federal and state mortgage regulations. This individual will be responsible for tracking, preparing, and submitting monthly, annual, semi-annual and quarterly reports, submitting re-certifications for governmental entities (i.e. FNMA, FHLMC, FHA/HUD, etc.), and creating and maintaining tracking spreadsheets and procedures.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and timely submit all required regulatory reports with accurate information according to the regulatory requirements, including the Mortgage Call Report, HMDA LAR, and other various state reportsInterpret state and federal regulations for the purpose of compiling the necessary data and information to complete required regulatory reportsTrack monthly, annual, semi-annual and quarterly reports and submitting recertifications for governmental entitiesMaintaining the enterprise reporting calendar within SharePoint to ensure all required reports are accurately captured and deadlines are trackedCoordinate with responsible parties to ensure all enterprise reporting calendar entries are completed timely and appropriate evidence is documentedCollaborate with appropriate business areas to obtain additional information necessary for regulatory reporting purposesValidate accuracy of collected data and information to ensure compliance with reporting requirementsCommunicate identified reporting errors and issues to the appropriate lines of business for review and resolutionCreate and update procedures and process flow for regulatory compliance reportingAssist with regulatory compliance audits/examinations as necessary, including organizing exam requests, coordinating with business leadership to obtain exam request responses, and reviewing materials for appropriatenessAssist with performing OFAC scans and reviewing possible alerts for clearing the potential matchAssist with other duties as requiredQualificationsRequired:Bachelor's Degree2+ years of mortgage experience2+ years of regulatory compliance reporting related experienceExperience with mortgage regulatory compliance reporting, including the Mortgage Call Report, HMDA LAR, and other state regulatory reportsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong MS Office skills including Word, Excel SharePoint, and AdobeAbility to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and work efficiently under specific time constraintsComfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to work independently and effectively within a teamAbility to work independently in a high production environmentAbility to understand and handle complex and diversified workDesired:Working knowledge of HMDA, MBFRF, and Mortgage Call Report requirementsWorking knowledge of state mortgage licensing and reporting requirementsExperience assisting with management of regulatory examinations and auditsExperience working in NMLSPhysical Demands & Working ConditionsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of their role.Ability to communicate effectively through speech and hearing, both in-person and over the phone.The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time and is occasionally required to stand and walk.Remaining in a stationary position for extended periods, frequently sitting but occasionally involving standing or walking short distances; the employee may occasionally climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Regular use of hands and fingers for tasks like keyboarding, operating office equipment, and filing documents.Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds, and potentially up to 20 pounds occasionally.Ability to observe details at close range, such as viewing a computer screen, reviewing documents, and performing data analysis.The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate, and no extreme conditions are present.About RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLCRoundPoint Mortgage Servicing LLC is a fully integrated, non-bank mortgage company, with a subservicing portfolio of approximately 900,000 loans.
