Description: We are seeking a Long Term Care Registered Nurse for our facility. The position involves providing care for residents in a skilled nursing facility. The typical resident census is between 80-95, with a mix of private and shared rooms. Required duties include IV administration, assessments, medication management, dressing changes, and wound vac care. Registered Nurses will perform admissions and discharges. Nursing assistants will assist with vital signs and activities of daily living, excluding blood sugar checks. The facility utilizes an electronic medical record system for documentation. The nurse-to-patient ratio is established at 1:25 for long-term care. Interdisciplinary collaboration is supported with physical, occupational, and speech therapy available. The facility has a dedicated pharmacy on-site and utilizes medication carts for daily use. Weekend and holiday work is required on an alternating basis. There is no call or standby requirement for this position. Floating between units may occur, although efforts are made to maintain consistency in assignments. Professional scrubs of any color are acceptable attire. A thorough orientation will be provided, including time spent on the floor with management available for support. Safety protocols are in place, including the use of PPE when necessary.
