Hughes Insurance is seeking a motivated, friendly, and dependable individual to join our team as a full-time Licensed Insurance Agent / Front Desk Representative.

This position combines insurance sales and service with front-office administrative responsibilities. We are willing to help the right candidate begin the process of obtaining their Ohio insurance license and will assist with getting the required courses started. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow professionally, and build a long-term career with our agency.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone
• Provide excellent customer service
• Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries
• Quote personal insurance policies
• Accept and process customer payments
• File and organize documents
• Perform general office and secretarial duties
• Assist clients with policy questions and service requests
• Maintain accurate customer records

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional and friendly attitude
• Basic computer and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment
• Dependable and detail-oriented
• Willingness to obtain an Ohio Insurance License (if not currently licensed)
• Previous office, customer service, or insurance experience is a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
• 32–35 hours per week
