Activities Assistant

As an Activity Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being. Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and lead various activities, including games, arts, crafts, fitness classes, and social events, tailored to meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents Collaborate with the Recreation Therapy department to develop and implement activity programs that promote physical, social, and emotional well-being Assist in maintaining accurate records of resident participation, progress, and feedback Develop and promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages social interaction and community engagement Partner with other care team members to ensure that activities align with individualized care plans and meet the needs of our residents Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of activity programs and services Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience in a healthcare or senior living setting preferred Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents as needed Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision insurance 401k plan Paid Time Off (PTO) Shifts: Shifts vary by facility #J-18808-Ljbffr
