RADIOGRAPHER - RADIOLOGY PRN Professionals Laurel, MS, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 1628 Radiographer Job Title: Radiographer Department: Radiology Full Time/PRN: Full Time Job Summary Performs diagnostic radiography under supervision; assists across radiology modalities; ensures radiation safety and image quality. Minimum Qualifications Enrolled in approved Radiologic Technology program; passed clinical competencies; BLS/CPR. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with RIS/PACS and departmental procedures. Perform ordered exams; verify orders/patient ID. Maintain clean/stocked areas; transport patients. Adhere to radiation/infection safety; participate in QI. Physical Requirements Walk and work on varied terrain and in confined spaces. Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull 75–100 lbs with or without assistance (patients/equipment). Repeated transfers of patients to stretchers/wheelchairs and loading/unloading equipment. Maintain stamina for prolonged standing, kneeling, and awkward postures in emergency situations. Rapid fine‑motor control for operation of emergency/diagnostic devices; adequate vision and hearing. All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
