Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel) in Vail, Colorado. Start date: 06/01/2026. 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours of 32 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour Days. Responsibilities
- Provide direct perioperative nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures, with attention to patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively; administer medications and assist in procedures as needed; maintain sterile technique and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to coordinate care and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
- Triage and respond to patient requests and needs related to perioperative care; support education for patients and families regarding plan of care and postoperative instructions.
- Document care accurately per policy; ensure HIPAA compliance and uphold principles of a Just Culture and patient safety.
- Support workflow by prioritizing tasks, managing patient flow in the OR suite, and communicating changes clearly to the team.

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted registered nursing license in Colorado or a valid compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to work in an operating room/perioperative environment and to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting
- Eligibility to work in the listed location for a travel assignment
- OR/perioperative experience or strong interest in perioperative care (preferred)
