School Psychologist in Berwyn, IL

This contract opportunity allows you to help foster student success while working closely with educators, families, and support staff. This position offers a unique schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:10 a.m. to 3:10 p.m., providing you with regular hours and a predictable routine. You'll provide services at two distinct sitesone at a vibrant middle school with 123 students utilizing IEPs, and one at a welcoming elementary school supporting 102 students with IEPs. Each psychologist will focus on a single location, tailoring services to the needs of their assigned student population. Desired Qualifications: Valid licensing and credentials as a School Psychologist Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Ability to collaborate seamlessly with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping abilities Passion for supporting diverse learners in an academic setting Key Responsibilities: Assess student needs and deliver individualized psychological services Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development Provide consultation and strategies for student academic and social-emotional growth Maintain accurate and confidential documentation Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed Collaborate with teachers and staff in fostering an inclusive school environment Alongside this meaningful work, you can look forward to a positive, respectful workplace that values your contributions and professional knowledge.
