Delta has been retained by a confidential client to conduct a search for the position of Electrical Director of Operations (Data Center / Mission Critical) in Houston, Texas.

Electrical Director of Operations (Data Center / Mission Critical) Compensation & Benefits

Total compensation for the Electrical Director of Operations (Data Center / Mission Critical) in Houston, Texas is between $200,000 and $250,000 base plus to additional compensation.

Electrical Director of Operations (Data Center / Mission Critical) Duties & Responsibilities

Leading and overseeing the company’s Mission Critical / Data Center operational departments to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Strategic operational initiatives.
Leading and overseeing daily operations of data center / mission critical operations in the region.
Establish goals, KPI's, accountability measures.
Analyze operational performance metrics and prepare reports for the CEO/President.
Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders and operational staff.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Electrical Director of Operations (Data Center / Mission Critical) Manager Qualifications

Great job history stability, no more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years
Minimum of 10 years of experience working as a Project Executive or similar for a medium to large electrical subcontractor.
Proven success running operations for a medium-sized electrical contractor.
Knowledge & financial responsibility to run profit & loss
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints, specs, and contract documents to fully understand scope of work, scheduling, and contract requirements.
Project experience must include data center / mission critical.
Successful experience with project budgets, forecasting project costs, change orders, billings, job costing, and more
Must be able to pass a background check, and possess a good driving record

Preferred but Not Necessary

Journeyman License or Degree
