Senior Accountant

Salary: USD85000 - USD100000 per year Ledgent Finance & Accounting is hiring! Position: Senior Accountant Position Overview Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a Senior Accountant with strong experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, audit support, and financial reporting. This role will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, and supporting compliance and audit activities. $85,000 - $100,000 Key Responsibilities General Ledger & Financial Reporting Prepare and post journal entries. Perform account reconciliations and detailed account analysis. Maintain the general ledger and ensure reporting accuracy. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial results and investigate variances. Month-End Close Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Prepare accruals, adjustments, and supporting schedules. Ensure timely and accurate closing of financial records. Audit & Compliance Assist with annual audits and auditor requests. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. Support compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. Assist with state tax filings and reporting requirements. Fixed Assets Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset ledger. Record asset additions, disposals, and depreciation activity. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. 3–5 years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation. Experience with general ledger accounting and month-end close. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred. CPA or CPA-track preferred. Desired Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
