Tired of sitting behind a desk all day?

Genesis Health Clubs is looking for a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Associate who likes fixing things, working outdoors, solving problems, and seeing the results of their work.

You don't need to know everything on day one. If you're mechanically inclined, comfortable using tools and lawn equipment, willing to learn, and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty, we can teach you the rest

This is a great opportunity to build real-world skills in facility maintenance, construction, equipment repair, landscaping, and property management while working in a fast-paced fitness environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

No two days are exactly the same. You may be:

• Troubleshooting and repairing fitness equipment
• Handling basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs
• Completing regular and preventative maintenance throughout the club
• Assisting with facility improvement and construction projects
• Maintaining club grounds, landscaping, and outdoor areas
• Mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and completing general lawn care
• Operating basic lawn and grounds equipment
• Keeping sidewalks, entrances, parking areas, and exterior spaces clean and presentable
• Inspecting the property and identifying things that need attention
• Helping keep equipment, locker rooms, workout areas, and other club spaces operating properly
• Identifying and correcting potential safety issues
• Working directly with the Facilities Manager on daily projects and priorities

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're more interested in your work ethic, attitude, and mechanical ability than a perfect resume.

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Like working with your hands and being outdoors
• Know your way around basic tools and equipment
• Have some mechanical, construction, or lawn-care knowledge
• Don't mind working outside in the heat or cold
• Enjoy figuring out how things work
• Can troubleshoot problems instead of waiting for someone else to solve them
• Take pride in keeping a property looking great
• Are dependable and show up ready to work
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Want to learn new skills and become better at your craft

Experience with construction, mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, automotive, landscaping, lawn care, or general handyman work is a plus, but isn't required for the right person.

Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
