The Commercial Rotation Program (CRP) is a two‑year rotational program designed to help you launch a challenging, accelerated and rewarding career. You’ll gain a strong foundation in commercial credit analysis, commercial risk management, and other functions and products offered to clients. Program Details Associates begin in July 2027 and complete two rotations of approximately one year each, gaining hands‑on experience across various business areas such as Healthcare & Technology, Media & Telecom, Energy Banking, Financial Institutions, Middle Market Banking, Commercial Real‑Estate, and Community Finance. Rotations may require relocation. Locations include McLean, VA; Houston, TX; Plano, TX; Chicago, IL; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC. Associates must be open to changing geographic locations at least once during the program. Full‑time new hires must be located in the continental United States and attend in‑person at an assigned location in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model. Key Responsibilities Participate in loan origination, structuring, underwriting and risk evaluation of credit facilities. Research and analyze industry and market data, complete financial projections. Analyze financial statements and portfolios to support business development and credit decisions. Prioritize assignments and multi‑task with strong attention to detail. Work in a fast‑paced, collaborative and dynamic environment. Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in or in the process of completing a bachelor’s degree or higher, with expected graduation by July 2027. Ability to work in the U.S. (no immigration sponsorship). Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related major. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal communication and writing skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, problem‑solving and conceptual skills. Demonstrated leadership and team‑oriented traits. Knowledge of general accounting and finance principles. Intellectually curious and forward‑thinking. Familiarity with generative AI platforms and ability to use AI as a collaborator. Salary and Incentives Annual salary ranges by location: Cambridge, MA: $97,000 – $97,000 Charlotte, NC: $88,000 – $88,000 Chicago, IL: $88,000 – $88,000 Houston, TX: $88,000 – $88,000 McLean, VA: $97,000 – $97,000 Plano, TX: $88,000 – $88,000 Role is eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
