Construction Manager

Location: Minneapolis, MN About the Opportunity A leading engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor is seeking experienced Construction Managers, Senior Project Managers, and Program Managers to support the continued growth of its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business in the Minneapolis area. This is an opportunity to join a well-established organization delivering complex transmission lines, substations, and grid modernization projects for major utility clients across the Midwest. You'll play a key role in managing critical infrastructure projects from planning through execution while working alongside industry-leading engineering and construction professionals. What You'll Be Doing Lead the successful delivery of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects. Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, from pre-construction planning through commissioning and closeout. Oversee project budgets, schedules, forecasts, procurement, and resource allocation. Coordinate engineering, construction, environmental, and commissioning teams. Build and maintain strong relationships with utility clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Support contract administration, change management, and commercial negotiations. Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Depending on experience, oversee multiple concurrent projects or large-scale capital programs. What We're Looking For Minimum 4 years' experience delivering Transmission & Distribution projects within an EPC contractor environment. Experience managing utility transmission, substation, or distribution construction projects. Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management. Experience working directly with utility owners and multidisciplinary project teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead field operations while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
