Senior Finance Manager - Loyalty and Customer Engagement

Senior Finance Manager – Traveler Engagement & Loyalty (TEaL) This role sits within the Traveler Marketing Finance team and plays a key strategic role in supporting Expedia Group’s Traveler Division loyalty program. The Senior Finance Manager is a strategic thought partner to the VP of Loyalty, serves as the TEaL representative for brands, corporate functions, and senior finance leadership, and manages the economics and accounting of the program. Responsibilities Bring experience and best practices from complex loyalty programs. Act as the go‑to person in TEaL on the loyalty value proposition and comprehensive understanding of program nuances and economics. Help the team achieve KPIs and deep‑dive on drivers of success. Manage the forecasting and budgeting process for the Loyalty program globally. Employ a thorough understanding of relevant GAAP principles and their implications on program economics. Partner with stakeholders on financial modelling for initiatives, program updates, and new launches. Work closely with accounting on month‑end close accruals to ensure accurate P&L and balance‑sheet reporting. Collaborate with analytics to understand the long‑term value proposition and provide program update recommendations. Qualifications 7+ years of finance experience, including at least 4 years in customer engagement/loyalty. Advanced degree (MBA or MS in Finance, Statistics, or related analytical field). Solid experience with statistical and mathematical analysis. Grasp of GAAP and understanding of the relationship between financial statements. Ability to utilize financial systems such as Hyperion. Strong business insight and experience in marketing strategy or analytics. Experience with complex SQL. Leadership experience managing geographically diverse teams. Compensation Cash range for this position in Seattle is $155,000 to $217,000. Total compensation can reach up to $248,000 based on performance. Pay may be modified in the future.
