We are a professional painting company dedicated to providing commercial and residential painting services with integrity and craftsmanship to the South Florida market with a highly dedicated, inspired, and caring team. Job Title Sales/Estimator Location South Florida Employment Type Full-Time Salary Range Commission-Based - Potential to earn $85,000+ (Salary plus commission) Responsibilities Evaluate project requirements and specifications to determine the scope of work. Conduct on-site inspections to assess the condition of surfaces, measure dimensions, and identify any additional preparation or repairs needed. Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to understand project goals, provide recommendations, and offer value engineering solutions when appropriate. Prepare comprehensive project proposals and bid documents. Maintain a database of material prices, labor rates, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate estimating. Stay updated on industry trends, painting techniques, and regulatory requirements. Join professional organizations relating to the client base. Requirements Previous experience as a painting contractor estimator or in a similar industry role. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and industry standards. Proficiency in estimating software and tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications Certification or training in estimating or project management. Sales experience in this industry in South Florida in lieu of the above. Experience working with commercial painting projects. Knowledge of cost control and budget management principles.
