Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with at least 3 years of experience for a 13-week day shift contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
Details
- Work in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Newport, Vermont
- Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department
- Day shift hours: 6a–6p, though schedule may vary depending on need
- 3 shifts per week, every other weekend required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
- Active RRT certification required
- Current certifications: ACLS and BLS/BCLS
- Vermont state license required if applicable
- Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit in the area
Additional Information
- Attendance at department quarterly education sessions is required
- The facility is located in Newport, Vermont, a small town on the Canadian border in the Northeast Kingdom region, known for outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
