Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location : Neptune, NJ

Shift: Full Time, Part Time, Per diem ( Weekends ) All shift

Position Summary

The CNA assists residents with daily living activities and basic nursing care while following established care plans and safety protocols. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, attentive, and committed to delivering excellent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and toileting)

• Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment

• Make and change beds; maintain clean and organized resident areas

• Serve meals and assist residents with feeding as needed

• Record food and fluid intake per facility guidelines

• Measure and record vital signs and weights as directed

• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff

• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies

• Follow infection control procedures and universal precautions

• Assist with restorative care programs

• Communicate respectfully to maintain resident dignity and comfort

• Attend required trainings and staff meetings

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or enrolled in a state-approved program with certification obtained within 120 days)

• Current CPR/BLS certification (e.g., American Heart Association)

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
