Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our care team, providing both clinical and administrative support in a fun, fast-paced pediatric urgent care setting. You'll work directly with providers, support children and families through every step of their visit, and help shape a warm, welcoming patient experience. This position includes front desk coverage as needed, so flexibility and teamwork are key.Location:Fayetteville, NCKey Responsibilities:Patient check in, insurance verifications, Obtain vital signs, medical history, and intake informationAssist providers with procedures such as splinting, wound care, and specimen collectionPerform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, urinalysis, etc.)Apply dressings, help with X-ray positioning, and provide distraction techniques for kidsSupport front desk with scheduling, registration, and patient checkoutKeep exam rooms and reception area clean, organized, and stockedWhat We’re Looking For:High school diploma or GED requiredCompletion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experienceBLS certificationPediatric experience highly preferredKnowledge of splinting, EKG placement, and lab specimen handling is a plus\nCompany DescriptionChildren’s Urgent Care of Fayetteville is a physician-owned, pediatric-focused urgent care center.
