Senior Maintenance Mechanic / Plc TechnicianAn established food manufacturer is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Mechanic / Plc Technician to support a high-volume production operation.This is an ideal opportunity for a maintenance professional who enjoys solving difficult mechanical and electrical problems and working with a diverse equipment environment. The facility utilizes everything from modern automation to specialized legacy European machinery.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipmentDiagnose mechanical, electrical, and Plc-related equipment failuresTroubleshoot Plcs, sensors, photo eyes, Vfds, relays, motor starters, and control circuitsMaintain motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsPerform preventive and predictive maintenanceSupport equipment changeovers and machine setupRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawingsTroubleshoot both newer automated systems and legacy manufacturing equipmentCoordinate with production and engineering to minimize downtimeMaintain accurate maintenance and spare-parts recordsFollow Gmp, food safety, OSHA, and company safety requirementsIdeal Candidate:The ideal candidate brings industrial maintenance experience from food, beverage, confectionery, pharmaceutical, or CPG manufacturing with strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and working knowledge of Plc-controlled equipment.Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens Plcs, 480V electrical systems, packaging equipment, high-speed machinery, servo systems, or European OEM equipment is particularly valuable.All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
